About Progression Energy

Progression Energy develops, finances, constructs and operates renewable energy projects. Our mission is to generate energy that is clean as well as reasonably and stably priced. We operate with in-depth market experience and access to proprietary technology that uniquely positions us to create great returns for our investors and for our planet.

Progression Energy was founded in 2014 by Chris Swartley, one of the early members of First Wind’s executive team, to pursue development of offshore wind projects in the U.S. Progression Energy’s leadership team is comprised of former First Wind developers, consultants and industry partners with more than 150 years of combined experience developing energy projects around the world. Progression has secured strategic funding partnerships that enable project development financially and technically.
