We believe that Hawai‘i can have 100% clean energy by 2045

Since 2015, when Hawai‘i became the first state in the U.S. to set a goal of 100% renewable energy, there has been progress and early wins toward this vision through solar PV, terrestrial wind, geothermal, and biogas projects.

However, the next phase of renewable energy development will require innovative projects of a larger size.

Progression Hawai‘i is working with government agencies, partners and the community to explore grid-scale renewable energy solutions for the island of O‘ahu.
